The ancient settlement of Ak-Dobo is an architectural monument of the 8th-12th centuries, located at the entrance to the Ton gorge. The hillfort consists of a citadel, a square, surrounded by long walls and a labyrinth. During the excavations there were found: ceramic dishes and utensils, decorations from bone and metal. There are legends about the treasure in the ruins of Ak-Dobo and about the spirits guarding it. According to legend, Ak-Dobo is the camp of Khans Tursun, who betrayed his ally, who in retaliation destroyed the site of the ancient settlement. Similar events are mentioned in the small epics of the Kyrgyz people.
